THE ART OF BUILDING SOUP

A hands-on culinary workshop inspired by classic French technique

Learn to cook beyond the recipe.

In this hands-on class, we’ll explore the foundations of building a beautiful soup from the pot up. We’ll begin by learning to recognize fresh herbs, vegetables and spices, then discover how to layer those ingredients to create depth and flavor.

Inspired by the techniques of Julia Child and traditional French cooking, we’ll work through the process of building a flavorful base, adding aromatics and seasonings, choosing the right liquids, incorporating roasted vegetables and proteins, and finishing a soup so that it feels balanced and complete.

We’ll also make quick, rustic biscuits from scratch to enjoy alongside our finished soup.

You won’t just leave with a soup recipe—you’ll leave knowing how to build your own.

October 17th is 11am-1pm

Everyone will leave with a large jar of soup created, a recipe booklet and an herbal mix.

This class is intentionally kept small so we have enough room in the kitchen to experience it all.
