Fermenting/ Pickling Workshop- 6/18 Readington Brewery
Join Rebecca from Three Birds Farm for an evening of fermentation, pickling, and hands-on learning at Readington Brewery & Hop Farm!
In this workshop, guests will learn the art of fermenting and pickling fresh vegetables at home using traditional methods that support flavor, preservation, and gut health. Together, we will create a seasonal fermented vegetable mix featuring garden vegetables such as cucumbers, carrots, peppers, pepperoncini, broccoli, cauliflower, and more.
During class, participants will:
• Learn the fundamentals of safe home fermentation and pickling
• Explore ingredients, techniques, and flavor combinations
• Create their own take-home fermentation jar
• Receive a recipe booklet with step-by-step instructions and recipes to continue fermenting at home
• Enjoy one complimentary beer ticket included with admission
